Anusara Yoga Matsuri

OSAMA & YOKOHAMA, JAPAN

October 8, 2026

This October, Jacalyn is excited and honored to join an extraordinary community of teachers and students for Anusara Yoga Matsuri (Festival), a two-week celebration of practice, learning, and connection in Osaka and Yokohama, Japan.

The heart of this tour is gratitude. Hosted by Inspired Anusara Yoga instructor Aiko Potts, we gather to honor the dedicated teachers, students, and community members whose passion has helped Anusara Yoga flourish throughout Japan. In Japanese tradition, matsuri is a festival that expresses appreciation—for the divine, for nature, and for the blessings of everyday life. We hope this gathering embodies that same spirit of heartfelt connection, generosity, and joyful celebration.

What You'll Experience

Our theme, The Harvest of the Heart: Gathering the Fruits of Practice, invites us to pause and recognize the transformation that unfolds through steady practice. Like the chrysanthemum that blooms in autumn, we discover our deepest strength, wisdom, resilience, and joy not through striving, but through ripening. Together, we will celebrate these gifts through Anusara Yoga, meditation, and contemplative practice.

Whether you are a longtime Anusara practitioner, new to the practice, or returning after time away, this festival offers inspiring workshops and trainings for every stage of the journey. I am especially honored to join Certified Anusara Yoga teachers from both Japan and the United States as we share practices that deepen our connection to ourselves, to one another, and to the global Anusara community.

**Explore the complete schedule and details of workshops, trainings, and special events by visiting the Japan Tour website**

The workshops will take place in Osaka and Yokahama.

“I cannot begin to express the lasting impact attending the Summer retreat at Dai Boastsu Zendo has continued to have on my life many weeks later. A container of love is created by all who participate. The moment you step foot into the guest house you feel a sense of camaraderie. We share laughter, joy, tears, breakthroughs, and heartaches. Since returning home, I feel lighter and happier; my relationships have improved, and I've maintained the habit of going to bed and waking up earlier. I am lighter and happier and my relationships have improved! This experience has transformed my attitude toward everything I do and am, for the better. I cannot imagine who the person is, that this retreat would not benefit.”
